Bio

Saiyam is a SAG-AFTRA associated actor based in New York City. He’s a graduate of New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study where he studied Postcolonial Theory in Visual Culture, specifically through the lens of storytelling. Saiyam has spent several years studying the Meisner technique, and now continues his training with Jose Joaquin Perez and at UCB comedy.

Saiyam has a diverse dramatic and comedic range of work on camera and stage. He’s appeared on popular television shows such as The Spot, Black Rabbit, Blue Bloods, The Sinner, FBI: Most Wanted, The Hunt with John Walsh, and has worked on several short films. Furthermore, he’s acted in commercials for Amazon, HBO’s House of the Dragon, ESPN Sportscenter, UNTUCKit, UPS, Spectrum, and many more.

Saiyam brings with him a dynamic fusion of both American and Indian culture. He’s passionate about diverse storytelling that highlights the voices of immigrants and people of color. He’s also a dancer with a background in Hip-Hop, Bollywood Fusion and Bhangra.
